Member Revisions

Member Revisions are user-entered tags that identify revisions performed on members in your current Job. Each short description on this screen can be assigned to a member using the list box ( ) for Short revision description in Member Status Review and may also be automatically entered to a revision chart during Detail Members.

Line: The line number that a member revision description appears on. This is the order in which the Short Revision Description is listed on the list box ( ) for Short revision description in Member Status Review. This line number is also the number you need to enter to Status Dispay > General status options > Revision in order to color code the display of members which have been assigned that particular revision. Line 0 is the member revision that is assigned to members by default.

Short Revision Description: A text string of up to 32 characters. This short description is listed on the list box ( ) for Short revision description in Member Status Review. This description may appear on the revision chart in the DESCRIPTION column. For this to happen, the member has to be on a sheet with a revision chart when that member undergoes Detail Members with the box checked for Detail with revisions. A blank short description is not allowed.

To add a new description or replace an existing description, left-click the field and begin typing.

To edit an existing description, double left-click the field.

Long Revision Description: A text string of up to 255 characters. This long description can be found in the History associated with the Short revision description. It is also printed in the revision history that is output for each selected member in a Member Revisions Report by Member.

  • The position of these form buttons on the screen tells you what settings they apply to. Click here for more information.
  • You can Copy ( ) the settings on this screen , then Paste ( ) those settings to a different screen of the same type.
  • Save ( ) saves a file to a global folder ( ) that is used by your current version of SDS2. Give the file a name that will help other users identify its purpose. Load ( ) replaces the settings on this screen with the settings that are stored in the file that you select.
  • When editing multiple screens at the same time, Paste and Load replace mixed entries to a single field with a single entry. Copy and Save ignore fields with mixed entries, treating them as if they have no entry or do not exist.

OK (or the Enter key) closes this screen and applies the settings.

Cancel (or the Esc key) closes this screen without saving any changes.

Reset undoes all changes made to this screen since you first opened it. The screen remains open.

  • Red or yellow exclamation point icons ( or ) indicate that a setting field is required to be filled out or corrected before the settings can be accepted by clicking OK. Hover your mouse cursor over the icon to make a tooltip appear with more information.
  • For Short revision description in Member Status Review, select New Revision to open Member Revisions in a separate window where you can add a new revision to this list.
